No Genesis 8 basic Male and Female and no 8.1 either

So why don't the Genesis 8 basic Male, Genesis 8 Basie Female, Genesis 8.1 basic male or Genesis 8,1 basic female show up in Smart content or in the Content Library? I had a third party character that I wanted to use and I thought I needed to load the basic male and then apply the head and bodyshapes. I looked and searched and searched and looked, but I could not find any of the basic 8 or 8.1 figures. I checked DIM and confirmed that they had been installed with the starter essentials. I even went to the file location and there they were and I could load them from there. But they were not in Smart Content or in the Content Library.
They should be under the "G's" in Smart Content, right? And in the Content Library they should be under People\Genesis 8 Male. You click on the title Genesis 8 Male and they should display there. That's where they are installed. That's where the Genesis 3 Male basic character shows. I even checked under the Character folder under the 8 Male but they weren't there either.
As far as I can tell they don't show anywhere even though they are installed.
While it was frustrating and irritanting looking for them, I did discover that I can load third party characters without them. If you click on the Character folder, they all show there. So I gues that's a plus, but I don't understand why the basic figures don't show up if they are installed.

Because the metadata is screwed up. All G8 and G8.1 figures should be in Smart Content if you updated the Genesis 8 Essential package. They show up inside the Genesis 8 Male PowerPose Template.
They are also in the Content Library and in the correct location.
In my Smart Content, I select the Figures folder. It should be in there and in the "G's" if you have it sorted by alphabet. You could also select the all folder at the top and type Genesis in the search bar to see if it shows up. You may need to reinstall the starter content if you can't find them at all. If you have DIM set up to save the zip files after it installs them, be sure to delete the zip files in DIM after uninstalling the content so it will download a fresh new copy of the zip.
OK. I re-installed again and now I can see them. Thanks!
