I didn't realise that this shader is ovr 1 gig. Why so big?

    40 material presets using several 4096*4096 maps each. That takes space.

    You can always just download and reduce the images to whatever.  They're nice, though.

    Some Iray shaders are just like that. At least 4k × 4k squares for Diffuse, Translucency, Bump, Normal, maybe Opacity, sometimes Metalicity (?), and it's not always in .jpg, because .png and .tiff are even bigger, "less lossy" formats. Then multiply it by 40 or however many unique patterns.

    Anyone else not able to download the DAZ Connect Offline Package. I'm getting

    code "not_found"
    message "File with such name does not exist."

    I still get that with Honni 8's Offline Package too even after three months with an open ticket for the issue and getting told on the forums that my issue would be looked into.

    I can't install via Daz Connect at all, not even getting to see the product in the Available tab. However whenever I update metada I get 1 that fails, I'm guessing it is these shaders since it started after I checked out with them

    I'm told that this has been reported up the chain.

    Just wanted to check in to hear if you @Richard or anyone else has heard anything more about this? I still don't have these shaders available to install, and I still get the Metadata update fail info.

    I raised the metadata problem on 365673. It's a missing file which could be part of the problems above.
