I got earrings that load into scene only as couple. But i need only one earring. I can temporarily hide the second one through geometry editor, but this is only untill i load the scene again. Then i have to make same long way through geometry editor to hide it again.
Is there any way to hide it until i decide to unhide it by myself? Or maybe there is a way to delete the second earring?

Hey!
1. You could try hitting ALT+SHFT+G.
2. Select the geometry you don't want.
3. Then, right click while still in Geometry Editor (ALT+SHFT+G).
4. Go to Geometry Assignment, then select Create Surface From Selection.
5. Name the new surface, go to your surfaces pane and the change "Opacity" to 0%.
6. Then go to File, Save As Material Preset.
7. Then simply apply that Mat Preset each time you need it.
after you make the one innvisble .. you can delete hidden polygons... then save the single as a scene subset.
You could try deleting the geometry, I've done that quite often without any problerms.
ParallaxCreates, thank you, it works.
Alan, or Taoz (or anyone else), could you, please, describe the way i can delete polygons?
Deleting polygons: With the Geometry Editor tool active, select polygons, right-click in viewport.
At the bottom of the menu is Geometry Editing. Choose Delete Selected Polygons.
Warning: no undo.
Thank you, Jim!
Interesting thing: deleting polygons from scene doesn't affect it’s size. Is it the way it should be? And will it speed up rendering?
The coordinate information takes very little memory. In general geometry information for an object takes about 5-10% of the amount of memory that the textures and maps take and the textures will still be loaded in whole.
