Dforce hair problem

Hello-  On some (not all) Dforce hair that I'm using, upon application to the figure, presents hair that appears to be blowing all over the place and I've got no idea how to make it look normal.  Sometimes there is a zero button and sometimes not, but if there is a zero button, it does not zero.  I'm wondering- is Dforce 100% reliant on an Nvidia driver/GPU, or will it work if I have a non-Nvidia GPU?

  • If this is what you're referring to, image 1,  than it's normal.

You have to run a dforce simulation to get to "look right". image 2

How do I run a dForce simulation?  I tried the various buttons in the content pane, like "Simulate", but nothing happens.....

Check the "Advanced" tab inside the Simulations setting tab, if there are no options in the drop down, usually cpu or gpu, they it's possible you have a non compatible GPU.

Just to be sure, what gpu do you have?
