Can anyone tell me which model was used for the cat in the first promo for Rin, or how to get that look? It's so cute and cartoon-like!

Crocodile Lui could probably tell you cheeky

    Or whoever did the promos.

It might not even be a rigged model but a sculpted furred prop

We honestly, truly, seriously, need more cat options. Moshi is cute, but we need like a dozen more cat options.

    We need cats!!!!

  • Agreed. Recognisable breeds too. I can see how they're a problem to model. Having a creature able to kick its own ear or flow like liquid is a problem.

Two years running now and we are still waiting and asking for Cat 8!!!

I did buy the Daz Housecat, same day 'cause based on Mil Cat or not, I need more cat options, lol. Mil Cat was becoming too much of a pita to use in the newer versions of DS...I also have that OTHER cat...and I do like it, I like the LAMH options, but it is also a trial and error every single time I want to use it...I have yet to find an Iray light setup that doesn't make the hair look awful...it's almost as bad as the plastic looking skin on humans (which I finally figured out thanks to the forums smiley )

    Cat 8! Cat 8!! Cat 8!!!

Looks like the Daz House Cat from behind judging from the body shape (especially the hind legs).

I think AM hinted he was working on a new cat. Don't know if that's still happening.

...yeah, still looking for a proper Manx.  You just don't lop off the tail and call it a day as they have a different overall build, particularly the hindquarters.

As to turning their bodies to the consistency of Jell-O™ when they don't want to be held or picked up, wonder if such couldn't be accomplished with Fluidos II.
