Hello, so I've been thinking of up grading to a laptop with a RTX3080 GPU but can save a lot of money with the i7 model over the i9.

I render with GPU only so wouldn't worry about CPU fall back and have read that just GPU matters in Daz Studio.

Any input would be helpful,

    No amount of GPU RAM guarantees that you won't run out, but if you don't plan to use the CPU rather than go back and optimise the scene to fit then the CPU doesn't need to be a super powerful model - though you don't want to go very mean as the CPU does have to do some work managing the process. I'd think an i7 (or AMD equivalent) would be fine.
