Save Locked Pose

Is there a way to save a "locked" pose, where the translation and/or rotation values are selected as locked so I don't have to do it manually? 

And then the extension question: Is there a way to save a "limited" pose, where the translation and/or rotation values are selected to be within your specified limits?

I tried saving a pose, but in the selection tree I don't see any place to include limits or locks.
