Question:- Was permission received to copy the model? Answer:- YES

Just wondering if anyone knows if permission was received to copy the orginal artists work to make the new White Princess model? https://www.daz3d.com/white-priestess-81-hd
I want it, but I need confirmation before I'll buy it. Here is the original

Yes ;-) I worked on the texture conversion aspect of the project and everything was coordinated with the original artist ;-)
Oh, well, never mind then.
I was going to say that considering a Daz Original and how exceptionally close they are - I expect something was arranged.
Great job, looks really amazing.
seeing her painted makes the character look even more awesome, pity it is 8.1, too difficult for me to use how I wish so not buying her
Thank you! ** goes off to go shopping **
In one of the promos where she stands in 4 directions she has normal ears, so I think we can assume the morph is separate.
The ears are actually a geograft so a separate model that can be attached or not and the textures were built for human ears and for the geograft ears ;-)
So a world of War Craft Elsa figure? Interesting.
And THANK YOU for the 3DL materials! That is the push that I was waiting for to download 4.15 and actually install 8.1.
Thank you. When I saw one of my favorite pieces of fantasy artwork copied almost exactly, I was a bit worried! The original is absolutely gorgeous and so is the DAZ the version!
Dmitry Prosorov is listed as one of the artists for White Priestess. I had never heard of him but after looking at his other projects I hope to see some more conversions to DAZ
What is sad for me is that even if I pick up this products line and make the best renders of my life with it, they will never live up the the skill the artist in the videe has with digital painting, very impressive!
I saw the character in the store first before coming to the forums and was really impressed and now even more so seeing the inspiration and who created it.
This product now shows the original artists names as PAs. If the product had shown those names this morning, which it didn't, this thread never would not have existed.
I bought the artist's speed painting series years ago with the White Priestess in it. I'll never paint like that, but it's a joy watching someone else paint like that! Gorgeous! The YouTube video with the music is very beautiful too.
Is there a UV that will make the ears work with other G8 and G8.1 textures?
Unbelievable video.
It looks like Dmitry Prozorov is an author of original. He signed it at 6:21
;)
Has anyone tried other G8/G8.1 textures with her ears? I'm guessing that the UVs probably don't match up with the base UV of either G8 figure but maybe there's hope...
Well, it's a separate anatomy with its own UV and textures. You can create your own, but it'll take work to line up all the maps.
Amazing artist and love the music used in the video.
Do those eyebrows come with her, or with that hair piece?
I think the question was "Do the eyebrows come with her, or [do they come] with that hair piece?".
not with the hair, I only bought the hair
