Store no longer works on an iPad.

When I click to uncheck hide items I own, it no longer unhides them. There is no way to see what I already own now on an iPad! I t works an the iPhone, but not the iPad...

A complete bust. Won't show any products, won't allow me to login. I wonder if it is OS related.

I'm on an iPad Air2. Everything works except ability to see owned products and upload images in forums on Safari.

A lot of things don't work in IE11 either (I know it's outdated but I use it for DAZ only to keep it separate from other sites, and apart from a few minor problems it use to work OK here).  Everything seems to work OK in FireFox.

Isn't there a Firefox for Apple mobile products?

  • I have Chrome on my iPad Pro and it is working fine.  Sounds like it's specific to Safari.

More likely some browser compatibility code in the store that's broken.

  • I have a silly thought you may have checked already. These days I can see a lot more on many sites when my android tablet is in landscape rather than portrait (which I do prefer). Could an OS or browser update inflicted the same problem on you?

    Regards,

    Richard.

yes works for me on Safari in Landscape mode, many options for the DAZ store disappear in portrait.

On the otherhand the forum needs it in portrait to create and edit posts.

I need the Firefox app to upload images.

WTB separate mobile and desktop sites.  As it is, the compromises aren't making anyone happy.

Thanks - I need to look for that. I use Firefox on my PC, so I'd probably prefer it - if it works on my ancient iPad

My unit is a 6th generation iPad running iPadOS 14.4 (and I just discovered there is a new update available 14.4.1 which I did get a notification for, nor did it auto update)...

Using Safari, I don't have a problem with the "hide/unhide products I own" per se, but in portrait mode the option disappears entirely, as well as that for "Show PC+ Only" (unless it's somewhere new and interesting which I'm not seeing), leaving only "Sort By" and "Filters".

A couple of months ago the store got weird for iOS when the software was rejiggered and now I find that to have more or less the same experience you used to, you have to vary between portrait and landscape mode to avoid certain bugs or reveal wonky buttons/menu choices.

    This is one example https://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/459806/is-any-other-ios-user-experiencing-this-problem#latest

I suspect iOS is not a high level priority and these issues will persist until there is time to fix them.

iPad 2 or iPad Air 2? … if it's the iPad 2, the OS maxed out at around iOS 9.3, so that could be part of the problem, but if it's the Air 2, that should be the current iPadOS unless you haven't updated it in a while. The move to iPadOS from iOS occurred at around iOS 13

My mother in law recently got a new iPad because her second generation iPad was becoming too problematic with websites, social media and games... I think that was maxed out on 9.3 as well.

It's an iPad and it will be binned soon. Daz isn't the only site that doesn't work properly and I have'nt been able to load new apps for a while now. Problem is most of my spare cash gets spent here.
