Stuff gone

I woke up this morning to find when Daz opened all my favorites, all the menu items in my "quick actions" toolbar menu heading of the same name, all my ManFriday keyboard shortcuts (but not the script items or templates) gone. How does this happen and is there a way to back up these user added things?

    Sounds as if the layout files became corrupt - clocsing DS through Task Manager can do that, over-enthusiastic security software might do it, a disc error might do it.

    Had you use Window>Workspace>Save Layout? If so Window>Workspace>Select layout would let you reload.. Otherwise, do you have a back up of your system? By default most back ups will include app settings - those for DS are in

    %AppData%/daz 3d/studio4/

    for the non-beta version, you would want to restore (at least) menus.dsx.

    Ok. Thanks Richard.. I'll try that backup after I get everything back up. Probably was a c-a-del at some point after Studio again froze.
