Help with Textures / Render

Is it possible for me to increase the thickness and strength of the eyeliner on a character using the textures provided by the package I buy?

I find often times, the promotional images of characters I purchase show the eye liner in much deeper black/colors and thicker than what I can produce with my renders.

I'm aware many factors affect render such as lights, render settings, engine, etc, but if there's specific settings I can changes on surfaces, please let me know.

Eyeliner is normally part of the texture map(s). You would want to make sure what maps the eyeliner is on. Most definitely the diffuse map, but depending on the look of it, possibly specular. You can use LIE (Layered Image Editor - there are a few tutorials on YouTube) or work on a copy of the texture. Keep in mind that if you have presets, it will be looking for a texture with a specific name, but you could always load your preset, then go to the shader tab and select the surfaces you need to change and load in the ones you made with heavier eyeliner.
