Exporting obj from daz to vue

I was reading a post where bone welds were defined. Should weld bones be checked when exporting all OBJs into vue? While my OBJs go into vue very well, I really don't know how all the terms effect the exportation of obj into vue. Some of my choices are guess work while others aren't. Clarification on what is necessary would be useful.

    The welds setting won't matter with most items - they will be welded in the basic OBJ. In any event, welding or not should matter only if you are going to modify the item (though it may have an impact on how any smooth shading is applied).

    Thanks. I will be modifying some of the surface colors in Vue using their material editor. Would that make a difference? I did some tests with weld and not weld and I couldn't see a difference.

    In most models it won't make a difference - it's only if the model is unwelded and replies on the CR2 to weld it that you'd see any difference at all.
