Has Face Transfer become more tolerant?

in The Commons
I used to get lots of images rejected by FT but now with DS 4.15 it seems that it's become more tolerant of face images used. I used these non-human based pictures with FT and it didn't complain. Anyone else noticed a difference with FT in the latest version? Maybe I'm imagining it.

Wow. Those look a lot better than many done with regular people faces.
Those turned out remarkably well! And now I'm curious enough to update the plugins, drag out the good camera, and string up my in-progress Iplehouse Leonard.
I need to dye him so he doesn't have a faceup, and I can stick some eyes in there and have a more more realistic (but still stylized) pale bald egg of a subject. Be interesting to see how it handles a much more angular male face!
To tell the truth they looked like pugs before I applied Face Transfer Shapes for Genesis 8. If you're going to play with Face Transfer I'd say this product is an absolute necessity. The promo images for it don't do it justice.
Oh yeah I picked that one up right away, haha. You do what you've gotta to get rid of them coming out of the thing like they've eaten a whole lemon.
I'm really curious to see how something that's just smooth, unpainted resin will come out, since so much of the appearance tends to rely on the maps rather than the morph itself.
Has anybody tried with a drawing or realistic painting? That may be interesting (or nightmarish).
Also, what are those T-shirts?
I do those with Facegen, FT I cannot try that as I disabled it after running out of free goes
... and returning it
cannot figure out how to remove serial from registry
In this case I (obviously) had to play with the skin tones and alter the face maps to some extent. The problem being is that most users can't handle anything not pre-made that doean't come out of a can. Both Daz Studio and Poser are incredibably powerful and manipulable softwares giving users control over textures/shaders and geometry. The tragedy is that very few see any interest in using those capabilities or the creative posibilities the programs offer.
Shirts Sweatshirt Fashion Set. Textures not "out of the can". See what I mean.
"Tragedy" is a bit melodramatic. Part of the problem with Daz is that they don't make any serious effort to document anything that would help mere users, the vast majority of whom are probably pretty casual, along. That may [SPECULATION] be partly to get people to buy ready-made stuff, which is their bread-and-butter, rather than do it themselves.
For me the gallery represents pretty much tragic with most images cut and paste plonks. And it ain't that difficult for anyone with even a modicum of skill like me to at least shuffle things about a little for the sake of originality.
I also tried to make some dolls looking like the dolls by Popovy sisters. The first picture is the result I've got with the current version of FT. The second two are my hand made morphs on my Kora figure in ZBrush.
I like the morphs you made. They are really nice.
Thank you very much!
