Besides Decimator, which reduces the polygon count for figures, there's not a lot of options for aspiring game devs with Daz Studio. It's also worth noting that not every vendor has a game license, and the existing basic license only covers Daz products, so you may have to hunt for individual permissions before you can use them.
The export options are also not terribly great. Many of them end up breaking the models, or just outright don't work. You may have a few hiccups getting them into a format which is useable.
If you want to go to Unity I would recommend the Game Dev option (it's currently available with 50% discount in Unities asset store).
For me it's the perfect combination.
And depending on your requirements it's worth to know that all the SM stuff can be used in Unity without an extra license.
problem is i dont use poser. If there was something with daz it would have been good.
If you go to the DAZ store and type "game license" into the search box you will see that DAZ and some (but not all) vendors do offer game licenses, you will also see that they are quite expensive and limited in the scope. The only relatively cheap options are Poser Pro Game Dev for $250 - $500 depending on whether there is a sale, or Make Human and Blender3D for free.
Or iClone5 pipeline bundle thats iC5 pro, 3Dxchange pipeline, not cheap but buying from Reallusion now will get you iClone6 free later when released and the indigo render suit.
IClone inc content with pipeline can be used in games you make, it has Unity ready presets and vendors sell affordable game ready content in their market place.
You can also render nice cut scenes in iClone and use DAZ stuff in that for 2D videos and images for your game.
