Detect new hardware . driver's ?

I am not tech savvy. Got XP pen deco pro. Xp pen directions read .delete any old drivers. Before I install xp pen drivers. When I plug the xp pen in to pc .windows 10 detected it. Is windows loading there drivers ? If yes where are the windows drivers ? Thanks a lot RorrKonn

    Download current drivers from the manufacturer's site and install those.  Windows is installing generic pen tablet drivers, just like it does for mice, keyboards, etc.  You will probably want to disable Windows Ink, as well.

    I down loaded xp pen drivers and the driver manual directions. I'm confused about the basic windows "Windows is installing generic pen tablet drivers, just like it does for mice, keyboards, etc." Do I uninstall that ? If yes where is it ? Thanks a lot

    Microsoft usually installs the Microsoft drivers and not the drivers provided by the hardware manufacturer/vendor's website. For example I always install my graphic card drivers (GTX 2060 super) from Nvidia and not via Windows update. The same with Wacom drivers.
