So if you want to get spooked at night, check out this series on YouTube:  "Fascinating Horror".  It's all true stories and no, it's not gory.  Well, not visually gory, but it's in there, much in the old fashioned ways of storytelling.  And it'll definitely creep you out.  I suggest turning the temperature down really low, curl up, and watch.   When the dog or cat leaves your side?  It's just about getting good.

Have fun trying to sleep after that!

Apparently, once you reach a certain threshold of sustained sweatiness, you start to smell like movie theater butter.

...uigh, yet another 502 error. C'mon Daz, fix your site.

At least my Milwaukee Bucks won the NBA championship tonight after falling behind 0--2 in the series.  First time in a half century (1971 when they had this one guy named Lew Alcindor, (later known as Kareem Abdul Jabbar);.

There's a restaurant in Florida at the Universal Studios Dr. Seuss area named "Green Eggs & Ham".yes  I've eaten there once.  Although it's almost always not open.  Whenever I go to Universal Studios I plan on eating breakfast at Green Eggs & Ham but only found it open once.sad  It's spotlighted in numerous YouTube video tours of Universal Studios but it's never shown open.  I don't think it's a popular place.  Although I found the green eggs and ham to be perfectly edible once you scraped the Frebles off of it.  However, a small side effect was that my tongue, lips and fingernails turned green but it wasn't completely fatal.devil

was a giggle hearing the gps try to say sagtikos parkway.

wasted the better part of the day on the phone with dayjob tech support.  3 weeks and i still dont have printer driver installed.  i'm not an admin on the job laptop, cant install ptouch s/w or the printer driver.  need admin password.  finally found the one guy with the password, then bit rocker kicked in.  stufff trying to install sends a message to the mother ship and needs approval to run.  then the mcafee hdd encryption refused to take my pasword.  took half the alpha bravo charlie alphabet to get it reset.  after a few wrong tries with the password, it made me wait 62 minutes to try again.  not sure what happened, prolly missed a capital letter.  theres no show button to see what i typed.

i have a whole stock room to barcode.  whee.  have a lovely new barcode printer with autocut.  but cant install the drivers.  using the old label printer, then i have to cut the labels with the paper trimmer.  no matter how much i practice cut is at a slant.  my labels look like a drunk person made em.

now i got 2 days to chill.  but i really want to work on the barcodes.  had a goal of finishing a shelf a day.

i need a cheap pdf editor with ocr.  cant afford adobe acrobat.   gonna make the switch to affinity photo.

i hear buppy upstairs in sneezing fits.  poor buppy bloke.

did they make a Loki marvel movie?  cant trust trailers, people gettin good at faking them.

At Stony Brook University the food service company used to serve Brown Eggs & Greenish Ham... I'm not sure that's quite the same as what Dr. Seuss was shooting for... The side effects were a lot worse than having one's lips and tongue turn green.

I feel like whenever I say Dr. Seuss, it sounds like "Doctor Zeus"... which actually sounds like a good name for a comically tragic backstoried supervillain.

on same note, will there be an Ursula movie? Or did I just watched a fan made trailer? Would that be click bait?

I love Etsy. But the biggest killer is P&P. I'm grateful for it though. Especially when it's tracked.

I'm trying to make a Lego Minifigure of my OC. I've got how I'd like her to look in my head. But I can't seem to recreate her with the parts that I'm finding online. She's not a tracksuit, or shirt kind of girl.

I get the first dose of the vaccine, tomorrow. I'm a teeny-weeny bit scared... No, wait... I'm absolutely cr@pping myself.

I'm hearing now that people who have natural immunity (meaning they had Covid and recovered) may be better able to resist it than those who have received the vaccine.

I still decided to get the vaccine because getting Covid "could" have meant that'd be one of the few with lung and breathing problems, and I didn't want that if I could avoid it.

Complaint:  Semi-productive mini-adventure uptown today.  Rates only a half-yay because I failed to remember to fast before going to get a blood test.blush  Which means I have to arrange a 2nd trip just for that.sad

Non-complaint: Other than that, the trip was good.  Went to lunch at Applebee's with my driver (my brother).  Went to the podiatrist to get my feet checked again.  Wonderful doctor, actually listens to your complaints and has good explanations.  He and I both agree that my foot and leg problems are not caused by gout or diabetes but are instead being caused by arthritis and pinched spinal nerves.

'Nother non-complaint:  And realizing, yet again, that I'm no spring chicken and that I still have things on my bucket list.  One of my favorite things to do (infrequently) is a quiet afternoon with a bottle of champagne and a plate of blue cheese on crackers.  I still have a wonderful blue cheese left from a couple weeks ago so I had my driver stop at the liquor store and I purchased a bottle of "Veuve Clicquot"-Brut, a moderately priced dry French Champagne (big "C").  That, along with my bottle of "Moët & Chandon Imperial"-Brut I now have the start of a new collection.  Empty bottles of good Champagnes.  Wheee...  I'll set them on my shelf and look at them for a few months before finally declaring a celebration worthy of trying another one.  Yeah, yeah, domestic champagne (little "c"), like "Korbel"-Brut can also be worthy (and is actually still quite satisfactory) but I can't compare them to the expensive stuff unless I drink some of it.  Also on my bucket list is caviar.  Someday I'll find a place that sells caviar and I will spend my kids inheritance on a fishegg binge.  Which is a big Wheee... because I have no kids.devil

Complaint:  My good foot-doctor is retiring in November.sad  I don't understand why, he's just a kid of only 66.indecision

All of my family and friends have been vaccinated and aside from a few aches and pains here and there everyone was fine... these are minor issues that far outweigh the risk of going unvaccinated.

If you get the Phizer vaccine, I'd suggest making sure you well hydrated before and throughout the day you receive it... I'm terrible at making sure I drink enough water and I got a headache because of that, but a friend (who is a doctor) told me to drink plenty of water, so I did and the headache went away later in the day.
Having to pee a lot is better than going through what the two people (at risk) I know who survived Covid went through.

I've actually known a few people who probably got Covid... I may have even had it, as everyone in my family was extremely sick in early January of 2020... if that's so, than it probably killed my father-in-law... and it's possible that my one of my brothers may have died from it too, but these were all before anyone was testing for it so there is no way to know.

Don't be nervous, it's far better you get the shot, especially if you have medical issues with your respiratory system.

    Good luck, and don't worry.

    Non Complaint...

I just got a new sculpting app for the iPad and it's pretty frickin' cool... it's kinda like 3D Coat, but without unwrapping... (someone really needs to make a simple UV unwrapping program for iPad!)... I'm still figuring it out, and this is a horrible sculpt, but it's supposed to be an evil statue/gargoyle kinda thing for an evil temple set I was working on...

If I end up liking it, I'll probably unwrap and paint it in 3D Coat later on...

But it's a pretty intuitive app, with lots of features...

Its call Nomad Sculpt if anyone is interested, and it's $15, so nothing that'll break the bank.
