Thian Hair in Mei Lin Bundle doesn't appear in my library

The Thian Hair for Genesis and Genesis 2 Female(s) that came in the Mei Lin Pro Bundle doesn't seem to load in my library. I reinstalled it though the DIM and re-imported metadata but all I get is what you see in the screen shot below.

Am I missing something here. Where's the hair?

    It does not appear in the Smart Content (for me, too) but you can find it in the Content Library

    Not there either......

    I uninstalled it. Re-downloaded it through the DIM and reimported meta data. Still nothing.

    Does the rest of the Bundle appear correct?

    I also have the Pro Bundle and the Installation was fine.

    Yup, everything else is there. This is weird. Even when I select Mei Lin and choose Hair, it's just not an option.

    take a look at your File Location if the Files are there

    are the Elemtents in Thian Presents Folder (there must be 86 Elements inside)

    Yup, a ton of stuff in there, just don't know why it does't show up in DAZ.

    if you check the Content Library for Genesis (not Genesis2) will the Hair appear there or does it also miss the Hair?

    Nope. Doesn't appear for Genesis, or Genesis 2 Female Base.

    Is there a dependency or something with this hair? Is there something I'm supposed to add first for it to show up? Still, you'd think it would show up in the Content Library when searched for.

    all Files are in the correct place (as far as I can see)... I don`t know what else can be done.
    You can deinstall and reinstall it again - maybe it will work.
    I`m sorry... that I can`t help you.

    there is nothing you have to install before... maybe a search in the Content Library find it but I don`t think so.
    You can try if an refresh of you Folder Location in Content Directory Manager (Preferences) will help.

    I'm on a Mac and they're all missing for me as well (G1 and G2F versions of this hair). I've uninstalled and reinstalled using DIM and I've also done it from a manual download of the files from my account. So weird. I'd really like to be able to find this hair to use it.

    Yep, had the same problem. Had to go into My library>People>Genesis 2 Female>Hair>Thian hair to find it.

    Hey cool, that worked. Strange how it shows up there, but not anywhere else, or when I search for it.

    The metadata is wrong, so it won't show up in Smart Content, Categories, Products, or searches.

    Yes, I informed DAZ yesterday and it will be updated over the weekend :) the metadata was missed in the final zip.which I didn't notice as I don't use smart content browsing... I browse using the Content Library window pane, plus I have an older version that has metadata that works but it is before DAZ changed the folder names so no use sharing that anyway lol

    Thanks and hope you get good use out of the hair and other Mei Lin stuff, can't wait to see your renders!! :lol:

    That hair is a true gem, went directly into my all time-top 5 hairs :)

    Here is a render, tried to do something in the anime spirit

    ps : There is a strange artifact on her left thigh, it happens randomly and seems to always have the same weird shape Oo, not sure what is causing it, but this is one of the reasons why I'm not doing a lot of renders these days, except simple characters test renders on a white backdrop... :down:

    thanks navibass :D my daughter is making me watch Sword Art Online right now so I like that anime spin :)

    using the same lights, do you get that same thigh artifact on other characters? how about other textures? if yes then try changing the lights. then you can figure out if it's character, texture or a light issue by isolating them like this. no fun missing out on render time because of it... especially if you've just spent a lot on Mei Lin stuff lol!

    For the artifacts on renders, it happens when there is an UE 2 sphere, and one V4 texture used on a G2F I think (don't remember seeing it on "native" G2F textures), but it happens quite randomly, usually when I make a picture with DoF, and high samples settings (in render settings), not with "normal" quality settings, so it's hard to figure out what's happening.

    Here is another one, loving that hair here :)
