A question about Merchant Resource

I wanted to ask the PA who make Merchant Resource a question: all Merchant Resources, both here on the DAZ website and on other online stores, have the clause that if you create a character with the Merchant Resource, you can only sell it and not redistribute it for free, and so far so good. Now, if I make a character with Merchant Resource, can I redistribute it via download on Patreon for example, only for those who pay me the tier? I mean, my Patreons pay the Tier to follow me, can I only give to those who pay the character I created? After all, they pay for it, I don't give it for free. Tell me if my reasoning is valid or not. Thank you.

    That should be fine in my opinion. It's the same as selling on another site. But if it is available for free behind no paywall then that is breaking agreement.

    I would, perhaps seek legal advice - ask Daz by raising a ticket. Having said that, Zev0's response and your explanation sound good. If they have to pay you cash to obtain the character, then that sounds like it would fulfill the terms of the merchant resource.

    Yes, the idea is this, paying a Tier you pay a sum to the creator, and the creator give out the character for download. The payement exist.
