Two Orders Pending for the Same Purchases?!

Okay, here's the situation. I tried ordering a couple of bundles. After it failed once, I tried again. Then I looked at my orders, and now I have two orders pending for the same purchases! Am I going to be double-charged?!

    Same here.  Paypal cancelled them this morning.

    I was using PayPal as well. Think that there's some sort of problem?

    I also made an order yesterday. Payment was pending as Paypal was reviewing the transaction and the transaction was cancelled an hour ago.

    Paypal usually catches these little Daz glitches - except for the one when Daz repeatedly requested payment for my platinum membership.  Paypal stopped it, but not before several payments went through.  As a result, my PC+ membership is paid up until the end of 2023. frown

    I have a similar problem with PayPal payment yesterday.

    Good to know, that I am not the only one with such a problem.

    I had this issue yesterday and spent hours arguing with paypal about it, turns out it isn`t anything to do with Daz, something in my order triggered security and they decided not to pay it. And I had it go through twice as well.

    This isn`t the first time this has happened for me, paypal sometimes has an issue with digital content, it might be the name of something in the cart, or maybe their security team is bored, I have no clue.

    Has anyone tried the Amazon payment thing? I`m getting mighty tired of paypal.

    It is even worse.

    I have just checked with my bank and PayPal has charged me for the transaction

    but has not sent the money to Daz.

    I have received e-mail from PayPal, in which they appologize for the trouble,

    but has cancelled the transaction and there was nothing about getting my money back from PayPal.

    It is getting dangerous to use PayPal...

    This has happened to me as well. PayPal suspended and reversed the payment, though the order total has been taken from my account. So far, I have received two emails from PayPal.

    The first email from PayPal:

    "As part of our security measures, we review certain payments more closely to ensure our platform is being used properly and to minimise the potential risk for us and our customers. One of the payments that you sent is currently being reviewed. We're working to resolve this matter as quickly as possible. We apologise for any inconvenience."

    Then a few hours ago, I received a second email from PayPal:

    "As noted in our previous communication, we suspended this payment for review to ensure it complies with the established User Agreement and our global regulatory obligations. During our review, we identified a risk that prevents us from completing this payment. We apologise for any inconvenience."

    In future, it may be best to use PayPal to initially buy a gift card (that shouldn't trigger a problem?!), then complete the originally intended purchase using store credit.

    Apparently PayPal took exception to the Cleopatra's Egyptian Treasures Bundle - it is being renamed.

    I thought thats what it might have been, I think it happened before, many moons ago. Unfortunately (and thanks to paypal) my cart which would have cost me sixty odd dollars yesterday, will cost me forty dollars extra today.

    I had the same issue with PayPal today, can not buy anything here at Daz3d, not with PayPal nor with my Visa Card. :(

    Pending charges where reversed by Paypal and the one with the Vias never got through.

    When Paypal puts a purchase in "Pending" it means they found something in the purchase suspicious and are reviewing it to make sure it isn't something untoward or against their TOS to sell. Basically, they thought the title of Cleo's bundle sounded suspicious-- either illegal sales of ancient artifacts or something more adult. Either way, this was definitely a Paypal issue and not a Daz issue. Previously when this happened, I started using AmazonPay. They are much less... involved with what you are purchasing.

    That, however, leaves me with two major questions;

    1: How do I make sure that DAZ3D honors the sale price I originally ordered the bundles I got at. Because I don't want to suddenly be overcharged for something I was getting on sale.

    2: How do I avoid paying twice for the same order?

    I'm interested in the answer to these questions too, as I've just encountered this problem. I have two charges for the same order and Paypal is pending on both of them.

    I'm buying less content these days and only buying things when they're on sale because I have to compensated for the added expense of the USD-AUD having such a terrible exchange rate. If I lose the discounts, the total price of my cart is going to be an eye-watering expense that I likely won't be able to afford.

    No answer for question 1 (besides the usual, "you can ask via a Customer Service ticket"). For question 2, I believe  DAZ_Rawb, in the thread Artini linked above, suggested trying to cancel any multiple transactions on PayPal.

    Well, even with the changed name of the Cleopatra bundle, I can not make a purchase and PayPal put the order is pending and later was told the order was reversed.

    I really would love to be able to buy the bundle though :(

    Stuck in PayPal pending limbo too after trying to order Cleopatra's Royal Vizier Bundle (twice) this morning. Not sure Elaheh HD in the same order helped either - a name of Persian origin.

    I'm probably on government watch lists now.
