Mei Lin morphs not functioning in Poser 2014

I'm wondering if anyone else is having this problem, or if they can suggest a solution:

I installed Mei Lin 6, and then loaded up her figure in Poser 2014. A G2F figure popped up with the Mei Lin texture, the Mei Lin dials spun to "1", and the body's scale at 93%, but none of the Mei Lin morphs are actually visible. Poser's dials say that they're there, but the figure on my screen is just a standard unmorphed G2F default figure with the Mei Lin texture.

This has never happened with any of my other figures (I have just about all of the G2F and G2M characters). Also, if I load up a different G2F figure (for example Victoria 6 or the default G2F) and spin the Mei Lin dials, they don't do anything except for scale the figure down.

I tried re-installing Mei Lin and the Poser companion files to two different runtimes, but still no visible morphs in Poser. I loaded her up in DAZ Studio, and she appears correctly in DAZ with all of her morphs intact (so I have a good idea of what she should be looking like in Poser).

I have the most current version of Poser 2014 (10.0.4.27796) and the most recent version of DSON Importer (1.1.3.50).

I've attached a couple of screen shots for comparison.

As it currently is, there seems to be no way for me to get the Mei Lin morphs to work in Poser. I even tried opening Mei Lin in DAZ (where she does work fine) and saving the scene for export with Poser companion files (as I often do to export clothes from DAZ to Poser), but when I open the Poser companion file in Poser, Mei Lin has reverted back to the default G2F shape.

I hope I can get this figured out, as I'd really like to use this great looking character.

Did the Mei Lin files end up in the same Poser library as the rest of the G2F base shapes? The core files, that is, not the Poser CFiles.

I don't have Mei Lin but does she use scaling? Make sure when you load the figure into Poser, you go to the Properties tab in the Parameters window. Check include scales, follow origins, and match end points.

Did you apply the last service release? Pro 2014 is up to 5

    Cheers Richard and icprncss! Success!

All it took was an updated service release. When I was troubleshooting earlier, I clicked the "check now" button for software updates in Poser's preferences, and oddly it told me that no updates were available (I was on Service Release 4). Big thanks to icprncss for pointing out that there is actually a Poser Service Release 5 out now. I installed it, and Mei Lin is looking wonderful.

A really great looking model too.

    Thanks again!

I'm glad it is working, but oddly I don't yet have SR5 installed.

I just updated to SR5, but I don't think I'd have had any problems prior to updating. Everything seems to be working fine for me in any case.

icprncss > Just FYI, those settings apply to conforming figures like clothing items, NOT bases like the G2F figure or her morphs. Checking those parameters doesn't effect morphs like Lilith 6 or Mei Lin 6.
