Saving presets

Hi everyone, I'm relatively new to daz3d so I was hoping someone can help me out with this. I'm trying to save a preset character with all the modifications I've done to it so I don't have to start from scratch everytime. However, I can't seem to save a character's parameter changes (i.e., increasing sizes of some areas of the body and turning dials in various areas.) It always seems to revert back to neutral. I've tried save character presets, save shaping presets, material presets which seems to make sense but its neither of those and the rest of the options don't seem likely either. Can someone clarify which save as preset it is?

I usually save a character out as a scene by habit, this retains all changes for me

I save my characters as a Scene Subset.  When the dialogue box pops up, I uncheck everything except the character.  You'd want to expand the character item and uncheck any hair, clothing, attached props, etc. if you only want the figure saved.  When ready to use the preset character again, I go back to my Saved Files (in the Smart Content tab) and load it from there.  That loads the figure into the existing scene, which is quite helpful.

Not sure if I've explained that well, or even if it helps solve your request.  There are various ways to accomplish what you're looking for and I hope you find a great solution that works for you! :)
