Will Genesis 2 products work with original Genesis model?

I've seen a lot of great looking Genesis 2 outfits, but I'm still getting used to original Genesis. Can I put Genesis 2 clothing on her?

    To do that you'll need to purchase the Genesis 2 clones for Genesis (male / female). By default, Genesis isn't backwards compatible. But with the inclusion of these clone figures you can use some of that awesome new G2 clothing on the original Genesis. Since they're both weight-mapped the conversions should be pretty faithful.
