Where is my fur?

I am working on a scene that utilizes the model of a Dire Wolf. I am using the model of the Dire Wolf for Daz dog 8.  In my scene I have posed the model and applyed the material shading that I wanted and everything looks fine but when I render in Iray the hair on the model disapears.  I have found a tutorial on rendering hair in Iray when using the wolf charachter that can be applied to the Daz dog 8 base figure and using the Look at my Hair pane and converting the model into an ObJ file before rendering in Iray but that does not seam to apply to the Dire Wolf model.  There should be a way to see the hair when rendering in Iray but for the life of me I can not find it.  I have included two images, one before and one after i preview the scene using the Iray preview.  Any sugestions would be most apreaciated.

    By default dForce hair doesn't appear in Iray preview as it uses a lot of resources.

    To make it appear you need to change a few parameters of the hair: set "Hair-Pre Render (PR)" and "preview PR Hair" to "on", and " Viewport Line Tessellation Sides" to at least 2.

    You say you're rendering in Iray, but your screenshot shows you're only using the viewport preview. Some types of strand-based hair only show up in an actual render, because they make your viewport chug harder like a college party. You can enable it by doing as Leana says, but I think when I tried that with the Dire Wolf I had to force-quit Daz because it stopped responding.

    I believe it's LAMH which needs to be converted to a mesh which it hasn't been by the images .

    I don't have that one but you need to bring up the export fiberhair option under windows LAMH  and set it dense enough

    I did think the Dire wolf had Dforce fur as well though, again I don't own it but that is LAMH in their screenshot

    Minor correction, for LAMH Catalyzer, you'd have to use the render button present in the LAMH tab.

    The regular render button doesn't produce a result.

    DIre wolf,for dog 8,  is DForce only, btw.

    I don't have Catalyzer so use the method I described

    I don't have Dire Wolf either but wrongly assumed like some of AM's latest it had both as that screenshot didn't look like Dforce
