The spaceship Phantom's cockpit- who knows what it looks like?

So, if somebody picks this up, how finished/detailed is the cockpit? The promo images only hint at an interior space.

The inside could be the real deal or it might be overly simplified.

Any takers?

Ha, indeed, I just mentioned similar in another thread... the vessel looks really good, but lack of clarity around interior and access hatch prevents me from buying.

It is true that most renders would be exterior shots, but clarity on the interior is required.

-edit- Just had a thought... if the fuselage is a single mesh then there may not be anywhere to position an interior camera if cramped - that would explain no interior promo shots.

Perhaps it will be a follow-on set.

I am rendering on a iMac so cpu only hence the incomplete renders but here is a view of the cockpit control panel and a view of the hatch... The interior of the hatch looks just like the hatch with ladder which leads to the interior corridor that leads to the cockpit.  The cockpit has control panels like the dash on either side.

just found this  about right hand driving:

Many countries that practice right-hand driving are former (or current) British colonies. And there's a reason behind it. During English feudalism where knights or sword fighters were still in the norm, right-handed swordsmen would prefer to keep to the "left side of the road" for the following reasons:

    • So they can easily use their right hand to wield their sword to an approaching opponent
    • To avoid bumping into another's scabbard, which is the thin cover of the sword that's attached to a belt and placed on the left part the body
    • To easily mount from the left side, and dismount from the right side of the horse

Thank you for that. This looks to be good for an inside proxy for many different ships.

Great for narrative kit bashing, er, so to speak.

  • Sorry folks...I was staring at the phantom for two months as it was built....I do forget nobody else knows it as intimately as I do.

Here's a couple of quick renders.

There is no actual hatch into the cockpit I'm afraid just the impression of one.
