Yea, building a new render PC has been postponed yet another time because of that...
I bought myself a discounted gift card to budget my madness for March Madness. PC for a Day has gobbled most of it up.
It does add up!
My "strategy" (LOL) this year is to splurge on the 2.99 items this month, then try to spend less outside the big sales by remembering that 70% isn´t that great a deal if you can have 80-90%.
(Chances of said "strategy" succeeding: 0.0001%)
Im sure if you save your money after March you can afford a new computer by September... oh, wait

Haha, yes this has been going on for years (purchased 64 GB RAM last year though and have a spare PSU, so it's progressing slowly).
Well I do have a GTX 1070, so not totally lost if I can't get anything better.
It is the only part of the sale that I have bought anything from but I am buying almost every day so, yes, it does add up. I'm also buying things just in case I ever find a need for them but, in all likelyhood, they will join the rest of that content in the paid-for-but-never-used category. We tell ourselves that, meh - it's only $2.99, so what? So 10 such items is already $30.
Buying stuff I won't use is the whole point of PC+ for a Day. I can't imagine having much use for https://www.daz3d.com/medieval-cyborg-chariot-for-genesis-8-male but it was such a ludicrous item (in a good way) I just had to have it. I love it!
I must have five hairstyles with the two buns on the side of the head by now. But this one had really cute bangs, so into my cart it goes. Also, not all the PCFAD items show up right away, and I like to do my shopping at midnight. So I will prune my cart to get it under my daily budget, only to wake up and see there are three more items I really want.
...yeah, looks like something out of Warhammer 40K.

While the complete product is rather specific, and might not fit into all your scenes, it's superbly modeled and some of the individual pieces are very usable on their own. I've already used parts of the product in several images, such as this image and this one. You'll definitely get your $2.99's worth out of it.
