Need Some Suggestions!

I'm a book blogger, that is I blog about books that I've read and I post reviews of them. (Blog)  Thanks to the pandemic I got tired of just posting a cover shot as the featured image.  So I reinstalled DAZ Studio and Bryce on my computer and started making renders of the book on a table of some sort.  I'm aiming for renders that take around 5 - 15 minutes.  They aren't big in size so that helps.

What I need suggestions on is sets.  I've been using ones such as Days of Cider, Almstübli, Beyond the Sea, Any place really with a surface that you might naturally lay a book down.  If I can talk a few authors into giving me images of the spine and back cover, I might work a character in holding the book, but that's down the road.  For now, I just need some ideas for sets to use.

Thanks,

Sandy, The Reluctant Retiree

I'm a fan of santuziy78's sets at Rendo, especially Modern Room 2 has some spots.  The Woodman Bedroom and Bathroom by Sloshwerks here are also really nice.  These are Iray scenes.  The ones you mention are all 3DL.  Do you only work in 3DL?

By the way, those are links to Product Library pages.  Can't see them if you don't own them.

You could go to the freestuff section of Rendo and type in room for a search and see what comes up.

Sorry about the links, I didn't realize that you had to own them to see what it was.  I've got a number of different rooms in my library already, but I'm not opposed to picking up more if I like what I see.  Give all the posts that explain how to set up Instagram posts with various props, I'm surprised more people aren't making renders to use.

As for working only in 3DL, actually I tend to do the rendering in Bryce.  I'm not looking for Photorealism, just a quick, clean render.
