How do I reset to the factory defaults?
I learn by trying things out, which is often a bad plan. I have tried several things and just keep getting further into trouble. However, I need to get back to normal. I am using Daz 4.15 on Windows and have hundreds of models and environments. I have done way too many updates and installs to use the standard windows restore function. Help me please.

I don't think there is a global reset. What issues are you having?
Several Issues:
1. Many of my models and downloads not installed and have lost their photos.
2. My window panes are no longer set to anything reasonable (all one sided).
3. I cannot transfer to Unreal.
4. I think I have fouled my data links.
Thanks for your help!
1. there is currently an issue with product thumbnails when Daz Studio goes online to update metadata, it is being investigated. However, that should stop the products from working (or the individual files from having thumbnails). If DS is not finding installed products at all that could well be a pathing issue - one thing you could try is downloading this script and dragging it into an open Viewport, which will make sure that DS knows about the folder(s) used by Install Manager http://docs.daz3d.com/doku.php/public/software/dazstudio/4/referenceguide/scripting/api_reference/samples/file_io/install_manager_config_import/start
2. Have you tried reloading the layout - Window>Workspace>Select Layout (note that this will reset everything, including any custom menus). Less drastically, Window>Workspace>Cusotmise and use the import button to reset just the panes.
4. What do you mean?
Item 2 - worked Thanks.
Item 4 - Everything appeared to be running okay. Then I started changing some directories. And suddenly nothing worked as before.
OK, assuming you mean some content is listed as installed but fails to load - what is the content directory it is in (the folder that appears immediately under Daz Studio Formats) and what is the fall path starting from the drive to the file that is failing to load. If it's some other form of not working, more details please.
