I'm curious about these two products:

The descriptions don't give a lot of information, but can anyone tell me if the machines are "functional"? Meaning, are the exercise machines rigged for proper use?

    Well I like the fitness club better of the two but I've not bought either as the descriptions says all those fitness apparatuses are props meaning things like the stationary bike pedals can't be posed for example.

    That's what I'm afraid of. There are many props that are rigged, but I don't want to go through the hassel  of buying them, then being disappointed and getting a refund.

    With the Fitness Club fitness machines, you can raise and lower the weights up and down and there are a couple of bendy bits.  You can raise and lower the seats and rotate the pedals on the spin bikes. On the weight lifting bench there are some things you can move up and down and rotate.

    With the Home Gym, you can't do any of those things.

    It's very nice, and all of the items are operable, as stated. Renders beautifully and I didn't need to add any lights.
