PVC clothing

How can I make my characters clothing look like PVC with the light reflecting off of it? I've tried selecting the item of clothing and choosing glossy (plastic) for lighting but it doesn't seem to work.

    Try this, as you said pick Glossy Plastic but do this also. Play with the Specalur setting. Depending on what you want you might want a lighter color in the color channel and a higher setting or a lower setting. And also play with the Reflection channel. Hope this helps.

    Use the spot Render Tool to do quick tests as you play.
