Disable auto expanding in Scene view

Is there a way to disable constant auto expanding on select in the Scene view? I don`t want to collapse lists each time I select a part of a model. You can select "Root node first" or "Root node only" in Tool Settings but this doesn`t solve the problem itself. I want to keep the possibility of selecting part of a model by clicking on it, but without expanding in a scene view.

Couldn't find a way to do this, but here's an option.

 

You could do is assign a short cut to the "Collapse all" option.

F3(default) or window>workspace>customize>Scene View>Collapse all>right click>Change keyboard shortcut.
