Delete an object

Hi,

How do I delete or remove a figure or environment from my scene?

The delete key should work (for the selected item and any children, and for the whole figure and children if you have a bone selected). It's also available by right-click in the Scene pane and in the Edit menu. If the keyboard shortcut doesn't work do others, such as ctrl s for saving?
