Belated, and possibly the best April Fools video ever - Nvidia RTX 4090

very well done!
from Gizmodo:
"April Fool’s is the worst holiday, but this is one stunt we can get behind. Someone built an obviously fake Nvidia RTX 4090 and 4090 Ti to get into the spirit—and to poke fun at the current graphics cards situation—and it’s so ridiculous it has to be seen to be believed.
Spotted by PCMag, Denmark-based PC builder Kasper Andersen has created the ultimate graphics card out of a hodge-podge of old and defective parts. Andersen told PCMag some of the fan motors came from coolers for Pentium II processors, and the outer casing was made with a 3D printer, which took more than a month and a half to make."

That was funny... loved that it's a "compact card"...
Suddenly all my unnecessarily elaborate jokes don't seem so nuts...
Thanks.
Outstanding!
That was great.
Brilliant!
Lol I saw the headline and let out a loud DAMMIT and then just as I was about to click on it I was like, wait a second! It was a wonderful April Fools joke.
21 cards in stock thats amazing
Just showed this to my son and his gaming buddies, they love it...lol
He needs an invisible computer chair.. Made me laugh..
Your elaborate jokes are loads of fun, too.
hhhhmmm,,
We could construct an orbital mining vessel with say, 40,000,000 of these and hook the ship to a dyson sphere around our own Sun.We could mine crypto-blockchains with out the climate change regulators breathing down our necks.
Well,, except for the whole blocking out the Sun to mine cypto thing.
But that wouldn't be a problem if we can get the court case transferred to the 9th circus. We just give Cali a discount on the rental rate we charge them for sunshine pass through.
...but only 48 GB. Crikey the RTX A6000 already has that and is puny in comparison. A card that size I'd expect no less than 72 GB with 120 on the Ti version.
Wonder what Nvidia will charge for the tie down straps to keep it in place and a fan guard to keep things near the desk from being sucked in like coffee cups, your mouse, small pets, etc.
Thanks of this hacsart, it really made my day.... incredibly dry humor right up my alley.
If he made $15k good luck to him ... best laugh I have had for a long time. I'm still wiping my eyes.
