Hello All,
I have used the bridge to send a figure from Daz to Blender. As I have many times before with no problems.
This time, I spend my time posing my figure, but when I go to render, its not there. So, I zoom out and lo and behold its there, but, in its original pose/position.
I see that there is a 30 frame animation active and if i push play the character pops up for a frame in the chosen pose, but then goes back to the original.
I've tried "Delete Key Frame" but perhaps wrongly.
I've spent over 8 hours beating my head over this... and looking it up online got me as far as figuring out that it's an animation issue (i think)
Help!

To clarify, are you saying there is an animation loaded into the Action Editor? I presume your pose is on the first keyframe--are there any keyframes after that? How many properties do you see that're green/yellow/orange?
If all you want is a pose, you can just save it to the Pose Library, delete everything else, and then reapply the pose to the character. If you are trying to do an animation, we'll need more information about what your timeline/dope sheet looks like.
The last thing i want is an animation. All i want is the pose i've modeled.
Then just save it to the Pose Library. It'll be saved as an Action (which is technically an animation) but you don't need to load it into the Action Editor to apply it to your character.
Thank you for the assistance Margrave.
I've been able to brute myself through the problem.
What I ended up doing is:
1) in Pose mode I select All then I select "Whole Character" that freezes the pose for me
2) In object Mode I hover over the Transform box and select "i" then click on Select "Visual Location, Rotation and Scale"
that is how i got my model in the right spot in the right pose, of course I had to redo the first step if i modified the pose.
Thank you for your help!
