Suggestion on some realistic scenes and models?

I'm new to Daz and 3D in general, although I've understood all the basic concepts for years. Just now actually jumping in.

I'd like a few suggestions on some of the most realistic models and scenes to play with. I'd be fine with just 1 or 2 extremely realistic models and 1 or 2 very realistic scenes in regards to the modeling and textures. I know that lighting and rendering is the biggest part of realism but let's just assume I will know those things. The one big thing that puts me off so far is the generic look of so many character models. If I can find one really great quality model and a good quality indoor scene, I can work from that and teach myself lighting, posing and rendering. I know the best ones won't be free so I don't expect that. I want my end result to be photorealism or close to that, and also model deformation such as when a hand is around a glass of wine, the 'flesh' deforms against the glass and flattens so to speak. That kind of thing. Maybe I can find info about that on Youtube.

I'll be learning Blender and character modeling as well, so in the future I'll be creating my own models, but for now I'd love to have something hyper realistic to play around with and see what results I can get. I prefer indoor environments whether it's a house or single room, maybe with windows and multiple objects to see how light plays with all of it, etc.. I'll be looking myself as well, and may post something here to ask whether it's a good choice or not. I won't know everything to look for besides obvious things like texture sizes and such. Thanks for any advice!

Genesis models are already photorealistic enough. you just need more realistic textures to make your characters look real and not like photoshopped supermodels.

strand based hair also looks pretty real but you have limited abilities as it cant be braided

But the biggest issue is actually the environment as there are no models that wud looks completely realistic, the best you can do is to render on HDRI background or otherwise insert your characters into the photo of a real environment.

Check out the "IRAY Photorealism?" thread over in 'DAZ Studio Discussions', some of those people are way ahead of me.

All the super impressive high end stuff I've seen was made with lots of custom work. For approaching "non-hyper" photoreal out of the box, some of the usual suspects that were mentioned a lot a year ago were Bluejaunte, Saiyaness (I'd add Carboncrow).

I've seen impressive outdoor renders with UltraScenery, for indoor I think Roguey/Strangefate do great things.

Those are of course just a few examples which I'm aware of, I'm sure there are several others. And then there's a lot of nice stuff I like that isn't focused on "maximum realism".

Edit: forgot another name that is dropped often: Stonemason does very good, flawless scenery.
