Genesis Poses distort Genesis 2 figures

Im trying to apply onto Michael 6.
however after posing, the figure's body becomes somewhat distorted.
The chest becomes pointy, the waist becomes obviously wider, etc.
Is there a way to prevent this?

I don't know for sure, but since those poses make use of the Genesis body and muscularity morphs, they may have unintended effects when applied to a different figure.

The proportional poses are specifically designed to work with David 5, which is not only a different figure (Genesis not Genesis 2 Male), but they're meant to work with the proportions of David 5, which was shorter and thinner than Michael 5, let alone Michael 6.

You can get around some of that by holding down the Ctrl key (the Command key if you're on a Mac), double-clicking the pose preset, then, in the window that pops up, uncheck the X, Y, Z boxes under "Scale" and uncheck the box that says "Morphforms". (If you've got the character in a particular location in your scene and want them to stay there, you also need to uncheck the X, Y, Z boxes under "Translation".) The downside to that is, depending on what the pose is designed to do and how, it may still not work properly. It should control at least some of the deformation, though.
