How do I make a figure pivot around only one part of his/her body when posing? (solved)
Hi everyone. As you probably already know, when you pose a DAZ human figure in various ways the pelvis remains fixed in the same place and at the same angle at all times, unless you pose the pelvis itself and/or move the entire figure. Now I've found out how to make any other part of the figure behave likewise i.e. remain fixed in the same place and at the same angle at all times. But then I noticed one thing: this time when I pose the rest of the figure it remains pivoted around two places: the pelvis and the part I specified. Question: is there any way I can 'unpin' the pelvis so that when I pose the figure it will pivot around only the part I specified (while the pelvis gets to move around)? Any help will be appreciated, thanks!

Regardless of what you are pinning the hierarchy of the figure requires that the root bones do the moving.
Thanks for telling me. Figured out how to do it, by the way. I just select the pelvis and do a view translate; that is all. ;)
