M4 Clothing Won't Work On M4?

This may be a dumb question, but a few weeks ago I bought M4, because I was noticing there was so much out there about him. I finally got some clothing specifically for M4. So I put them on him in a negative pose, posed him, and the clothing didn't move with him. I have seriously tried everything from parenting them to everything he owns below the waist, chest etc. I have resized him, reshaped, whatever and they will not move with him in a pose. So now I'm afraid to waste more money on clothing for him that will not work correctly, what am I doing wrong? In the pic, I had the jeans parented to his waist. Thanks for any feedback!

For most Gen4 clothing you need to use 'Fit To'. Parenting is not usually required for conforming clothing, just props like hats and canes/swords etc.
Right click on the jeans in the Viewport, or select them in the Scene pane, right click, and select Fit To.
The later Gen5 and Gen6 clothing auto-conforms when loaded.
Thx for the feedback, but I failed to mention I tried that as well. But I didn't know that about the 5 and 6 clothing, I just knew some conformed and some didn't, thx!
Ok, got it!! I don't know if I was doing something just stupid, or I was bugged. I since closed Daz and reopened it. Weird.
