Garibaldi - Export to Obj

Not sure if it works as I cannot see the object when I re-import to DAZ. I can see it when I import to 3ds Max but when I re-export it from there and import to DAZ, it cannot be seen again. Please help.

    2 possibilities off the top.

    1. ... check the opacity ... I've had some issues with Max .obj files importing at 0% in D/S for ? reason.
    2. ... use the locator ... might be very large and very high.

I don't have Max but discovered that the export from Garibaldi imports into D/S if I can wash it through Hexagon first to resize and position it for the figure. Sadly Hexagon doesn't have a huge memory which hair needs.
Whatever the import/export settings are between Max and D/S that you've been using for making clothing or other items to land in the scene where desired, in Max, have the hair object positioned and sized correctly ... then make the export.

Thanks, it worked. Looks kinda ugly after the re-import, though. Shame that there's no integration with Reality.

You're welcome. I haven't mastered the plugins texture thing, tend to redo all those myself using texture effects for multi-shading and all that.
