What does this mean exactly?

Just been looking at the list of updates from when Bryce 7 was updated but don't know what this means.

Updates:
Updated Photoshop Plug-in host to conform the newer specifications – 5.0/6.0.

Anyone have any ideas?

    @StuartB4 - I'm not sure. From the Picture dialogue a plug-ins folder can be selected to access Photoshop plug-ins (.8BF). It appears that the part that handles the exchange of data was upgraded.

    Thanks Horo. I understand that now, but what then. How do I use Photoshop plugins in Bryce?

    I'm not sure because I prepare the images before I load them into the Picture library. I think if you have an image loaded, you can modify it using Photoshop filters. Not very helpful, I'm sorry.
