How to Use Texture Atlas to Unify Textures for Gen 8/8.1 models?

Are there any tutorials or how to guides for using Texture Atlas?
Looking to use DS models in KS for product rendeings.  Have used for a while but recently was told to use Texture Atlas to reduce the amount of photoshop time needed to remove the texture mapping edges.

    In theory, you could create custom UVs and then combine all the texture maps into one file. No idea how practical that would be, or if there are hardcoded limits in Daz you can't get around.
