Another "what is she wearing" question... (Drow Mercenary Boots)

Once again, I call upon my fellow forum-goers for assistance.  The Drow Mercenary Boots for Genesis 8 Females | Daz 3D features two full-body pictures with an interesting outfit, but no "Products used in promo shots" links.

The hair in the shots isn't quite what I'd use for a Drow anyway, and I can think of some other ways to dress one, but I'd still like to know what the outfit is.

    ..hmm, "mercenary boots" with stilletto heels.  Maybe good as throwing weapons ala American Maid from The Tick animated series.

    Outfit is dForce Drow Mercenary for Genesis 8 Females from the same vendor. It's available at the other store.

    OK, found it, thanks, and that does explain why there's no promo shot links.

    Actually there's not usually promo shot links here at DAZ. It's not mandatory for the PAs, so I wouldn't expect them in the future.

    Sure, I know that, but in this case the link would be to an "Other Store" product, which seems ... unlikely, let's say.  (It's 90% reasonable, even.)

    Heya steve, just came across your thread by chance. I hope your question was answered to a satisfactory manner by the fellow community members :)

    As for the design, I crafted the set to specifications based on very particular details so that's why it looks how it does.
    The hair was my choice though, I wanted this drow scout to have a sporty ponytail. Might not be canon to any lore, but I simply like it.

     

    IRT links to assets used in promos, I try to add those wherever I can...but I rarely use assets 'as-is' and it doesn't make sense to add heavily moddifed assets as sources. Since one might look very different to another and that kinda beats the purpose IMO. And then there is also the fact that cross linking stores is not a wise thing to do.

    In the future, if you got any questions regarding any of my stuff or the assets used in any of my promos, then don't hesitate to send me a message and I'll reply back in detail ASAP.

    Ugh, I suck at following up with my threads.  Yes, thanks, the answers were great.  Not totally what I hoped for, obviously, but definitely useful.  My comment on the hair is just a question of it not really matching my idea of a Drow, which may well not be too related to actual "lore" about them either.

     

    Anyway, thanks for replying to my question.
