in The Commons
Hello All,
Could anyone tell me which figure closely resembles the actress Charlilze Theron? I am looking mainly for Genesis 8, but will also work with Genesis 3, but nothing else.
Thank you,
Geo

On the first page there a two "Look alike's"
In addition to the ones listed, there's also SASE Kayte by Sabby/Seven at Renderosity.
Beautiful, but over $18 ?!?! Keeping it at home here on Daz Studio is there anything?
$18 is a bargain.. A custom commision would have set you back $1000 or more. The Vendor put in some time to make her.
Evlin by Emris... but she´s also over 18$. That´s pretty standard for a character.
Furia over at Rendo is probably the strongest.
No, I am PC so she's FAR less actually and is on sale for $8.63
Oh wow! THAT's really close. Price isn't to bad either, four bucks more than Evlin, but I would say worth it. Way better and less expensive than that Kayte character.
Thanks y'all for the info!

I second Furia, Sangriart has many more celeb-look-alikes and she's doing a great job with them.
These characters go on sale for 50% off all the time.
Agreed.
Hey, like anyone, I look for a deal. I very rarely buy something here in the Daz Store unless it goes 75% off or more unless I absolutely have to have it.
Actually it wouldn't cost me $1000 because I would just look at the person if their head was screwed on backwards and walk away.

Yeah same here.
Furia from Sangriart at Rendo is very good. Currently selling for 30% off and $12.95 but if you wait a little you should be able to grab it for 50% off.
To offer an opposed viewpoint, I've not been very impressed with any of the Sangriart morphs I've bought. The initial likenesses are good, but I find the morphs seldom work well with expressions - something about the way in which they're morphed that makes the overlayed expressions look unnatural.
Not saying that you're wrong, but expressions can be tricky with most sculpted characters.
Adding to what Sevrin says, everyone has different expressions and muscle use changing the way you "know" the celebrity. It's not a Sangriart problem, it's trying to find the correct expressiveness to make it convincing. You can't do "default smile morph" and expect it to be the smile you know from the celebrity, you have to tweak and fine tune.
This is case with Daz made figures. Some expressions, especially smiling faces, if taken too far, make the character look hysterical or derpy. I find it could be the expression itself as some i have are meant for a particular figure. I just use the standard smile settings for Daz as it is more generalized. Then, like with makeup, I just follow the rule of less is more and don't go crazy. With some characters, a mere smirk is enough to get the point across.
