How do you get hair Look At My Hair to follow a model properly when you animate?

You don't. LAMH doesn't support dynamic hair, and neither does Garibaldi. Perhaps it's something we'll see in the future, but until then we're stuck with static hair unless you manually morph it into place each frame.

The hair should move around the scene with the item it is on, but as HoF says it won't change shape.

You can repose the figure and do a series of renders one at a time
it is not dynamic but would sync follow the figure,
if really keen could restyle it between poses too
a gif animation could be doable this way, bit tedious if trying a video though as in you would die of old age!!!
I myself create geometry hair and rig it with the transfer utilty, while still not dynamic it is at least conforming and for me usable in Octane render for DS among other things

I tried to set keyframes for every LAMH Renderman curve "poses", it doesn't work. So yes Wendy is right, looks like it's back to geometry hair. Kinda defeats the purpose of having hair instances in Daz Studio.

Back to Zbrush Fibermesh morph making loop...

I hope one day soon we will be able to animate LAMH generated instances on the fly using Daz's animate tools from Puppeteer to Keymate, and also save the hair presets with their own morph set.
