Preserving rigging on G1 -> G2F

I have the Fantasy Wrap for Genesis: http://www.daz3d.com/fantasy-wrap-for-genesis

It's carefully rigged to allow you to move the front, back and ropes around by dialling parameters. However, if you auto-fit it to a G2 figure, all that rigging is lost and it just becomes a (not terribly well) conforming dress.

Is there any way to fit it to G2F but preserve the rigging? Step-by-step instructions please!
