This product is set to be made for G8F and G8.1F but brings up the Auto-fit dialog once loaded on G8F? Mistake? If a product is said to be made for G8F I expect it to load right away and be optimized for G8F without any auto-fit adjustments.

    And of course the included pressure morphs are only for 8.1 too. I hate this. Either say that the product is only supporting 8.1 or provide a proper product which works on both! Will try to contact the PA but will return it if not fixed.

    Right you are.  The  description for this shows "morphs included for Genesis 8 and 8.1 Females", but the file list only shows

    • /data/Daz 3D/Genesis 8/Female 8_1/Morphs/xtrart-3d/Fashion_Dainty/XF-DaintyLace BottomBP.dsf

    • /data/Daz 3D/Genesis 8/Female 8_1/Morphs/xtrart-3d/Fashion_Dainty/XF-DaintyLace TopBP.dsf

    Will there ever be a clone so 8.1 clothes can easily autofit on 8.0? Would changing the scene identification make 8.1 clothes fit on G8? If they have the same mesh why can’t ALL G8,1 clothes be made to fit G8?

    Changing the Scene ID should work for the fitted items, yes.

    Could you guys elaborate more on this. Do I need to change the scene ID from G8F to G8.1F so that clothing and dedicated 8.1 morphs will work?

    Changing the scene ID on the clothes should make them work on G8F.

    Morphs are another problem.

    Can't you just move the morphs from the 8.1 folder to the same place in the 8 folder? I would think that would make them show up for BOTH the 8 and 8.1. I wonder why the PA didn't do that to begin with...

    I might be wrong but IIRC just moving the files is not enough, there are references to edit in them too.

    Well, have asked to PA to provide an update. Hopefully he'll provide one soon. Don't want to have to modify a product which was advertised as working for G8F.

    There was already an update in progress, I beleive, and it should be available soon barring last minute issues

    Update is available and not the outfit loads without any issues on a G8F. Unfortunately the pressure morphs do not work on G8F though as those are currently placed in the G8.1F-data folder. AFAIK altering and placing them in the G8F-data folder would help as those morphs are both loaded with G8F and G8.1F, right? So I'll suggest that to the vendor for a second update.
