Output to 16- or 32-bit TIF, HDR or OpenEXR

Long ago, before taking a 5+ year break from CGI, I had Maya and used 3Delight at my main renderer. I loved outputting to 16- or 32-bit files, so I could easily adjust exposure post-render. Is there any way to set the camera to output at a great bit depth?

You can choose to save your finished renders as jpg, png, or tif. The tif format Studio uses is 32 bit.

No, the tiff format is 8-bit - the measure is bits per channel, not the total bit count across RGB and alpha channels.

Yep, PSP X6 shows it is 8 bits per RGB channel or 24 bits per pixel. Strangely Windows 7 and XnView both reported it as 32 bit.

The alpha channel adds the extra 8 bits.
