Yui Remake Question

Hello,
I already have the original Yui character by Goanna and now I see that there is nw 'remade' version. Other than new textures for G8.1, does anyone know if there are other differences between the original and the new release? The original figure says it is also compatible with G8.1 so I am not sure why there is a new releaase instead of just an update to the original.

There's a new release instead of an update so they can charge you an extra 17 bucks.
Are the textures for 8.1?
Nothing in the read me suggests they are. And I've discovered that Daz is loathe to tell us if they use 8.1 UVs.
IMO 8.0 UVs should not be part of a 8.1 character unless specificaly stated; again imo, it's false advertising.
As far as I can tell these are the differences between the original and 'remake' version, of course as nicstt says we don't know if the remake character uses the Genesis 8.1 UVs or not.
I already have the original character so I would have to say there's not enough here to spend another $24.95 (excluding discount)

Looking at the bangs alone, there seem to be fewer morphs in the remake hair than the original. See:

Looking at the clay render promos, it looks to me that the hair is totally different, though the style is the same:

If you look at it in addition to the hair being remade (my guess would be by Sprite since they are listed as a vendor on the new one) the morph and textures also look completely redone?

the body shamee and proportions of the head are pretty different
if you look in other promos the eye textures are completely different as is the bump n the lip which to me suggests the textues are also probaly completely redone
so my guess is the reason its a remake is because everything is completely redone from scratch or near scratch.
If you look in the file list it doesnt inclued a head texture so we can safely assume it uses the 8.0 uvs. It does include roughness maps custom micro bump and detail weight, and what I think are probably specular occlusion maps so it is fully utilizing the new shader (and again this lends credence to the textures being entirely redone)

It seems strange that there is a shadow around the iris...
Does anyone know if the two versions can co-exist or does the new one overwrite the older one?
