    so after reading the lyrics to that song I find myself confused about next months theme, is it breasts???? LOL just kidding, (hopefully that isn't offensive to anyone) I won't take that one any further. *as my mind wanders off into the gutter again.......*

    Jeepers I don't know why anyone other then a Vegan would be offended by your comment. I for one have breasts twice a week. I love my fried chicken, especially if it is from KFC.

    Not having any females in my house at this time, I am not sure I can speak to this. However, when I was married many many years ago my wife had a dish washer. I still have the dish pan hands to prove it.

    am i being negative AGAIN...... dang, sorry guys. let's see.... a machine at home, would that be porn sites on the internet???? that would cover a machine and boobs...
    or maybe the playboy channel on TV??? I could go on...*off into the gutter again* OOPS just can't seem to get my mind on other things today.
    SERIOUSLY, now that our negative group has gone somewhere else I would hope that no one considers me to be a negative force in this thread. I do voice my opinion but I really try to be nice about it (unless someone really ticks me off then the gloves do tend to come off). I hope that any comments I make on someones render are taken with all the constructive criticism that I am giving. I NEVER mean to offend anyone, here or anywhere else. that is just not me. I know that we all have off days and sometimes things are taken wrong when we think someone has said something that we have taken as offensive, I do the same thing when I'm having an edgy day and feeling like the world is picking on me or my render. But as adults (and kids too) we try to rise above all that and be better people for it. If my comments are to be taken as negative then I will no longer comment on renders.

    I'm glad it looks good (except for the shadows), but I was really aiming to more towards 8 to 9 o' clock. :down:

    Just a thought...have your dad stand in the same spot every hour, on a well lit day (not overcast) and take a photo, always from the exact same vantage. Then you'll have a set of reference photos. You can do the same on an overcast day, but the shadows will be softer and sometimes might be nearly invisible, depending on how overcast it is, especially if it's one of the overcast but kind of bright days, that's very soft lighting that seems to come from everywhere, so shadows are limited to directly under the body in most cases.


    You could do this during different seasons, too, to see how the shadows' direction changes, and if/how the hardness of the shadow changes with all things except the season being the same.

    Too greasy (KFC). I used to love them, but I tried recently and they're still too greasy. I found Boston Market much better, but the one near to where I live closed. :down:

    I use it for making new textures for cloths & props.
    And to shrink down the size of the render file by 1/2, to meet forum requirements.
    In the above picture, all but 2 of the outfits have new textures by me.
    I also made the signs & spliced HoboBo's pictures to fit in the windows.
    In most of my pictures I render the copyright bug into the picture. If I'm splicing it together, I'll add it after.

    (And, once again, August leaves me with almost no time to render. :-/ I was going to give that fellow in my earlier NAE a modern camera and have him go take photos of some older rolling stock, on account of that's what I did on my vacation... If everything's been parked for a decade, does it still count as trainspotting?)

    The link for the City Bag gives a "404" error; the "Serina" link is not working (site may be down); Classy Shoes for A3 gives a "404" error; Attache Case is not a direct link to the download page.
    The city bag has a space in the name,so it borks. I've linked the index page.
    The web pages for the skin tex & the shoes are down. We lose more freebies that way. :P
    Link for attache case is fixed. And I added the link for the other shoulder bag.
