Once again Daz Smart Content has stopped working with G8 at least. I've tried removin Genesis Starter essentials for both male and female and reinstalling, but no change. Can someone remind me what to do about this?

    Try resetting the database.

On the Content Library Tab, right click and choose "Content DB Maintenance"

    1) Export user data.

    2) Reset the database.

    3) Reimport the meta data.

    4) Login into DAZ using DS and it will further update the metadata.

Whole process should take around 15 mins.

Before you take the nuclear option, what is the Compatibility Base of the Genesis 8 figure? It should be "Genesis 8/Male or Genesis 8/Female". If it is anything else, some product has redefined itself as the new base, which would mess up the smart content. If it is not correct, it is easy enough to fix. First note what it is set to so that corrective action can be taken with the suspect product.

From the Scene tab pane's context menu ("hamburger"), edit Scene Identification, and click the ellipsis to the right of Compatibility Base. Wait for the full list to come up, and navigate to Genesis 8, and select sub-base Male or Female, and Accept. That should clear it up if it was a simple case of mistaken identity.

Thank you, that got me to the right place, now sorted.
