SAVE THIS CREDIT CARD Default Option

The SAVE THIS CREDIT CARD default option should NOT be checked when making  a purchase. NEVER force a person to make a decision they don't want if they are not paying attention. It's really smart marketing to let your customers make the choice. Some of us try to have personal information in as little databases as possible. Please, no responses saying you can opt out, that goes back to being "smart" in how you serve your customers. Thank you

I agree. I almost forgot this morning to uncheck it. And considering how some scams have been recently highlighted to clean out bank balances, this type of marketing is extremely poor. Even if there weren't hackers, quite simply, the hassle to update your credit card data on every site you have it stored is a royal pain. I had three sites compromised by hackers in one year alone that forced me to cancel my credit cards and order new ones.

Thank you for reminding me to delete my info from the site. When the store switched over, the first time I bought something I did not have the box checked as I don't like any store having my info, but it was saved anyways and I kept forgetting to go back and delete it from my profile. Just went and deleted it.

I requested the default save credit card be removed at the onset of the Storepocalypse, but I was ignored. Also, the default Hide Items I Own on searches adds an extra and unnecessary step, but I no longer use the store search because Daz.
